Linocut print making

Hannah Lewis is a linocut printmaker who records the details of flora
and fauna in the natural world around her, drawing attention to the
fragility of our environment and the importance of environmental
stewardship. 
Are you inspired by nature and the beautiful bushland and coastline
of the Mornington Peninsula? Do you have a favourite tree or plant
or animal? Have fun creating your own linocut print to take home. 
Learn how to make a linocut print. Hannah will use samples of her
own prints to show different techniques for cutting and design.
Draw your design on a circular lino plate. Learn how to carve your
design on the plate before printing it on paper using a small press.
All materials supplied.
Wear old clothes or an art smock.
