LIMB: Ode to the trees

LIMB: Ode to the Trees is a captivating dance-theatre event celebrating the profound connection between humans and nature. Created by Mornington Peninsula artists led by Sally Grage-Moore, Poul Grage, Ian Cuming, and Carole Patullo, the team behind the creation of Mirror Dance and the giant Weedy Sea Dragon puppets, this multi-disciplinary performance blends dance, puppetry, text, live music, and projection to tell the stories of four magnificent trees located across the Mornington Peninsula, on Bunurong Country. The stories will be interwoven with the observations and reflections of four local performers whose journey the audience will be invited to share. Featuring a towering moving tree sculpture, breathtaking visuals, and a soundscape inspired by nature, the performance invites audiences to feel immersed in a living forest, exploring the beauty and complexity of the natural world through art and movement.
